Linda Hamilton Terminator 4 Role
There has been a lot of talk about Linda Hamilton and Terminator Salvation and today comes word that the role is still being worked out. Many months ago we told you that McG was keen on bringing her back for Terminator Salvation but at the time Linda Hamilton had denied any involvement and said she has not been approached.
Today comes word that they have approached her now and she is just waiting to see how it all pans out. The word is that she will provide a voice over but not likely it seems to actually appear in the film in any fashion. It would be nice to see her come back especially when you consider she is much older and could pull off a role playing herself in the future. Assuming of course it all works into McG’s timeline.
The idea McG was bouncing around months ago was to have Sarah Connor do a voiceover to open the movie, recapping the first three movies for everyone.
Helena Bonham Carter Confirms Terminator 4 Role
There have been rumors for awhile now that Helena Bonham Carter would be playing a baddie in the upcoming Terminator Salvation and she confirmed to SciFi.com that she does indeed. I gotta admit if anyone can pull off a terminator with rubber skin its Helena. That is assuming she is playing a Terminator. She revealed to Scifi:
Dark Knight Writer has Terminator 4 Connnection
As you all know by now we caught up with McG at Comic Con as well as the rest of the cast of the film and he spilled the beans on something that we did not know before. He told us that the film would have an R rating which we already told you. He also told us that Stan Winston would have a cameo which we told you about. The shocker was that the film has more then one connection to Dark Knight. Christian Bale is the obvious connection but McG revealed that Jonathon Nolan who wrote Dark Knight was the lead writer on Terminator 4.

I really don’t care at this moment what anyone thinks about this movie or whether or not it will flop. I am going to see it no matter what. When I saw the first Terminator, I always wondered what it would be like for Sean Conner. Now we will see how he handles the machines that Skynet sends for him.

Claire Danes Replaced in Terminator 4
Claire Danes is crazy hot and was fantastic in Terminator for but from Hollywood Reporter comes word she will not reprise her role as Kate Brewster in the upcoming T4. Instead the role has been recast to Bryce Dallas Howard due to a scheduling conflict.
In the highly anticipated new installment of The Terminator film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.
The film also stars Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese, Charlotte Gainsbourg as Kate Connor, Moon Bloodgood as Blair Williams, Common as Barnes, and Jadagrace as Star. “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins” marks the latest installment of the multi-billion dollar Terminator franchise and will be the first film in a new Terminator trilogy. The film is scheduled for a North American theatrical release May 22, 2009.
Terminator 4 Has new Super-Terminator
From the really nice folks at /Film comes word on the new Terminator in T4. We all knew there would be a new one since you cant very well do a new Terminator movie without some new angle. This time, its a SUPER Terminator. The man with the magic working on the terminator says;
Terminator 4 Title Dropped
According to CS Terminator Salvation has been dropped. Now that you are all in a huge panic let me just clarify that the title is what has been dropped. CS is reporting that the Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is now just Terminator 4. Frankly the title was to damn long and it doesnt bother me at all that they are changing it.
Terminator 4 Gets a Release Date
According to Variety ( thanks to Gabs for the heads up ) we wont have to wait long for some new Terminator action. Terminator Salvation will hit theatres May 22nd, 2009. Terminator 4 is shooting in April in Budapest according to ‘J’ who emailed us sometime back. McG with his top liner Christian Bale ( rumored ) will be bringing new life to the Terminator Franchise. Today SkinCarver emailed to let us know that Chud has the inside scoop on who the main characters in the upcoming movie will be.
