Witchblade Director Confirmed
Awhile back the official teaser poster was released for the upcoming Witchblade film. Today Variety confirmed earlier reports that director Michael Rymer (Queen of the Damned) will helm the film from a script written by Everett De Roche. Despite Rymer’s questionable ability he cannot blame it on a bad script. De Roche has written a couple fine films already including Razorback, the original Long Weekend and the remake.
The comicbook introduced the Witchblade mythology, which centers on an ornate jewel-encrusted gauntlet that gives extraordinary powers to the wearer, a specially chosen female from each generation.
