Screenwriter Talks X-Files 2
Today NJ.com spoke with X-Files: I Want To Believe scribe Frank Spotnitz about the film. Apparently this film will not follow in the footsteps of The Mist and have a tragic end. Spotnitz says, “It’s a scary, creepy story like most of the episodes. But I think what will really surprise people is how much it focuses on Mulder and Scully and on the power of their relationship… It’s just them in the last scene and, you know, I find it very moving.”
You know thats really the part I hated about the show. Don’t mind me if I sound a little too manly here but I don’t fall for that lovey dovey crap. I want BIG fuckin monsters and aliens trying to destroy mankind. The crazy creature feature episodes. Hopefully the first hour or so will be that and it ends on that note. Otherwise I think I will be disappointed.
