Monster Squad Remake Inevitable
Well I think we all should have seen this one coming. B-D recently sat down with Rob Cohen director of the upcoming The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and he spilled the beans about Paramounts plans. Apparently they have just bought the remake rights to Fred Dekker’s 1987 cult classic.
The tale of a group of very young kids hunting down the famous Universal monsters looks like it will don the screen once more. Cohen said he would not be directing but would merely produce. I guess its time to get out those Mad Monster Squad DVD’s, pop them in and cry yourself to sleep..
