Offspring Ready to Film

Those horror hounds over at Dread Central just received word that Jack Ketchum’s novel Offspring will begin shooting in three weeks. This news comes from Fantasia where I am assume they spoke with director Andrew van den Houten (Headspace). He also served as Producer on Jack Ketchum’s The Girl Next Door so he knows a thing or two about Ketchum’s work.

The odd part about this news is that Offspring is actually the sequel to Off Season. I am actually reading Off Season right now and was about to move on to the next book. Offspring is the story of the survivors of the first novel facing off against a group of the surviving cannibals in Maine.
