New Drag Me to Hell & Quarantine Dates
It seems that among studios the popular thing to do is to toss around different release dates to try and maximize their money. However on the other hand it really frustrates us as fans because we just want to see the damn thing! Well this update is a good one because a release date is announced and one is moved up.
Sony Screen Gems have moved Quarantine up a week to October 10th. John Dowdle’s film is an update of the Spanish [REC]. Honestly not much has been said about the movie lately but then again it isn’t coming out for a couple months so I think we can give them a little breathing room for now.
Next up is Ghost House Picture’s film Drag Me To Hell. This is the movie that is going to be bringing Sam Raimi back to the directors seat for horror. The plan right now is to get this in theaters on May 29th, 2009. It’s really a shame that he has to come back with a PG-13 rated flick but we will have to wait and see what type of flick this really is before we pass full judgement on the rating. Well I’m guessing this one is gonna jump around a couple times so be sure to keep it here to find out.
