First Set Photos From Saw V
Today some set photos from Saw 5 appeared on of all places IMDB. They really aren’t that exciting but if you have been dieing for more of this film this will have to tide you over for awhile. You can check them out below.
Some people absolutely love this franchise and others loathe the continous beating an already dead horse. Either way people are very vocal about the films and that can only be a good thing for Lionsgate and director David Hackl. This film is going to hit theaters on October 24th.
Fear Itself Schedule Change
This week Stuart Gordon’s episode Eater will premiere at 10 PM on NBC. However the schedule has changed once again for Fear Itself. Next week will be a week off but after that they will begin airing again with the following episodes:
7/17/08 – “New Year’s Day” will be directed by Darren Bousman (“Saw II, III and IV”), and is written by Steve Niles (“30 Days of Night”) from a story by Paul Kane. A young woman wakes up in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by horrifying zombies.
Christian Bale talks Terminator, Strike!
Christian Bale in an interview on our friends ReelComix talked about his upcoming role and the looming strike for the actors. Oh and yeah he talked a whole lot about Dark Knight. Imagine that. When asked about why he was doing T4 and what attracted him he said:
In a similar fashion that Batman begins revitalized and re-invented Batman even though with Terminator we are of course continuing a mythology we are not ignoring the mythology like we did with Batman I see there as being great potential for re-invention and re-vitalization of the mythology of it and thats what I am aiming to do Thats what I feel our responsibility is otherwise there is no point in making it.

Butterfly Effect 3 Revelations
From BD comes word that the Butterfly Effect 3 has a title. It will be Buttefly Effect Revelations. We already knew the movie was coming the studio let us know a long while back, but the film was only being called Butterfly Effect 3.
More Resident Evil 4 Talks
A long time ago before Resident Evil 3 was being filmed it was planned that they would film three and four back to back. The fourth film being shot in Japan. Well my guess is that Milla Jovovich’s pregnancy may have prevented that from happening. But nevertheless it didn’t go down.
Wrong Turn 3 Director Chosen
Rob Schmidt’s Wrong Turn was a film that slid below everyones radar at theater but ended up doing very well on DVD. A couple years later and Joe Lynch picked up the reigns and directed a mean spirited direct to DVD sequel which also hit a chord with gore hounds. With such a big success it was no secret that Wrong Turn 3 was looming.
Today B-D has discovered that Declan O’Brien will be behind the camera. O’Brien is not really known for anything that great. Well unless you would call Rock Monster or Savage Planet fantastic pieces of cinema. No word on when Fox Home Entertainment plans to really get this thing going so keep it here for more as we hear it.
