First Look At Jonah Hex
I have never read an issue of DC Comic’s western Jonah Hex. But after the news that Warner Bros. would be making this into a full fledged picture, I began to give it a look. From what I have seen it looks really good and right up my alley. The comic is going to be adapted by filmmakers Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor.
Hex, known for having the right side of his face disfigured and wearing a Confederate army uniform, was a rough-and-tumble gunslinger and part-time bounty hunter whose adventures always ended in blood.
The good news is that the filmmakers do not plan on making this a straightforward western instead they are going to keep some of the supernatural elements. In doing this they plan on creating a possible franchise.
Today The Film School Rejects got an exclusive look at what Jonah Hex will possibly look like in the movie. No one knows who will actually play Jonah Hex but in the photo is Thomas Jane in full make up with a striking resemblance to the comic book. Click on the photo below to see a much larger version..
