DePalma Helming Boston Stranglers

Brian DePalma has already tackled the story of The Black Dahlia, now he has been tapped to direct the story of The Boston Stranglers. The film will be based on a script adapted by Alan Rosen (”Head of the Class”) from Susan Kelly’s nonfiction book “The Boston Stranglers: The Public Conviction of Albert DeSalvo and the True Story of Eleven Shocking Murders.”

The movie will most likely focus on publicity hound Albert DeSalvo who confessed he was the killer. While in prison for unrelated charges he was stabbed to death. I am sure a lot of the focus will also lie on the Police force and their role in finding out who the killer is.

Currently their is no cast announced but I think it is clear having DePalma on tap means some big names will be surfacing soon. Keep it here for more.
