[REC] 2 Poster
From AICN and Aullidos comes a teaser poster for Rec 2. Recently the horror community began buzzing about Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza’s [REC]. The film became a huge success oversea’s and has even spawned a U.S. remake, Quarantined starring Jenifer Carpenter. With all this buzz around the first film it should come as no surprise that Filmax would make this announcement.
Rec 2 will have the same “claustrophobic concept” as the first film, seen through a handheld camera lens, according to Filmax. So once again if you can’t handle the shaky cam it looks like you will be out of luck once again. They are currently shopping this idea around at Cannes right now and already have a couple potential buyers.
The sequel at this point will reunite the directors once again. Other than that no details are being released about casting, plot details, or budget. Be sure to keep it here for more news on this sequel and the remake that is hitting screens on October 17th.
