Highlander Remake
According to The Hollywood Reporter Highlander is being remade by Summit Entertainment. Peter Davis the original producer will also produce the new film. Now key here is that Peter is saying its not going to be a true remake but a retelling with new story elements. He also points out its much more then just an action movie.
“I would hate to think that people viewed ‘Highlander’ as a sword fighting movie because it’s much more than that,” he said. “The issues of an immortal falling in love with a woman and knowing she’s going to grow old and die in your arms, those are very romantic issues to deal with.”
I liked the original highlander movies with Connery and Lambert, we will see where this goes.
