Lionsgate has just nabbed the rights to the comic book Deal With The Devil according to ReelComix and has already tapped Kyle Ward to adapt it for the big screen. Published by Alias, the story centers on a Chicago detective who is forced to take on an unlikely new partner: the original serial killer. Ward will also produce along with David Tischman and Lisa Brause.

I have never heard of the comic or the comic book publishing company Alias before. So this new material will be an interesting film. I would like to know how they are going to take the idea and make it into a horror film. Hopefully this doesn’t turn into just another Thriller.
