Dead Clowns Review

Ok I am going to write this review. This movie was so bad it took me five tries to finish it. This movie was so bad I didn’t want to grace it with a review. This movie was so bad I would shoot skeet using the dvd. Coined as a “zombie movie” is wrong wrong wrong. Another site quotes on the cover, “One Of The Most effective Indie Horror films I have seen in years”. Yeah effective for putting you asleep!! The boredom factor is so huge, I felt like grabbing the clowns axe and helping him out a bit…geez.

Synopsis: Fifty years ago a bridge collapsed plunging a circus train into the water below. The clown car was never recovered. As a hurricane approaches this small town in the present the zombie clowns emerge from the bay to eat revenge.

The movie moves at a snails pace. If they showed another outside scene of the Hurricane I would have screamed. The clowns were buried in silt at the bottom of the bay for like 50 years, then why is the clown clothes and shoes looking like the clowns stopped by Wally world for NEW clothes?? Some of the close up gore stunts showed promise, but the camera just sat there and filmed forever loosing any suspense they could have captured.

I could go one hacking away at this movie, but I most show some respect for my love of Indie. At least they tried…
