Cricket (2008), is the long awaited debut feature film from the award winning Austin Brothers. Based on a shocking true story, their film will be a gritty, unflinching tale, told through the eyes of a single British truck driver. Anxious to leave his chequered past behind and start a new life, Frank (Dutch Dore-Boize) finds work at a Manchester trucking firm run by an old friend, Owen (Mohammed Quraishi). But there is history between Frank and his new employer, and it is not long before issues of the past begin to surface once again. Unwittingly drawn into a sinister criminal enterprise, Frank is cut off from those around him, trapped by old loyalties and finally forced along a tragic path of destruction.
