The I Scream Man
It looked like The I Scream Man was going full steam ahead with nothing holding them back. Last year we heard of the project and were quickly drawn to it. With a cast including Crispin Glover, Haylie Duff, Judd Nelson, George Romero, Fred Ward, Dee Wallace and Michael Madsen it is hard to fly under the radar.
Well it has been quite some time since we have heard anything about the production or the shoot and for good reason. It hasn’t began. Scifi Wire caught up with star Crispin Glover who told them it has been delayed because of financial and legal wrangling. “We were supposed to go into production, and I would like to go into production soon, but I don’t have the details yet of when that will happen,” Glover said. “I read the script, and it is good.”
J.T. Mollner will direct the film in which Glover will star as a shy, spooky man who owns an ice cream truck, wears surgical masks and goes on an inexplicable murder spree in a small town. The kicker is that the film is not expected to come out until 2009! So now we play the waiting game.
