Killer Pad Review
Who wants to have some fun? If you do pick up Killer Pad, it is easily one of the best indie flicks so far this year. It’s some what funny with its lame jokes and very hot. Three friends travel to LA to buy a house so they can pick up some ladies and get some. They buy an awesome house in the Hollywood Hills. Turns out the house is a gateway to hell and as they throw one of the biggest parties people start to end up dead.
The acting wasnt really all that bad, there were so many hot girls. I mean this is a movie for RIP, theres tons of good looking girls with the hottest dresses. The acting was pretty good nothing to complain what. At least it was horrible acting where you couldnt watch it anymore.
There wasnt alot of gore effects, but what effects there wore they were alright. Nothing to talk about besides the women in the toilet and the guy takes a dump on her that was pretty sick and funny. The CGI wasnt the greatest, it could have been alot better then it was.
Robert Englund directed this, and yes its the Robert Englund who played Freddy. Theres some that might think its a different Englund but its the real deal. He did a great job directing it, he has some talent and knows what hes doing. I was surprised he didnt have a cameo in this movie.
I liked the way it looked, it looked like a real movie and seemed like a real movie. And I loved the music Demon Seamen was great. I really enjoy that demotic sound to the music. Overall the film was good worth a rent at least if you see it at your local video store or Netflix. The only thing I has a problem with was the amount of gore. I would think that with Englund directing it there would have been some good gore scenes but there was only really one gore scene that looked pretty good. If you want a fun and hot horror comedy pick this one up you wont be disappointed.
