The Dorm that Dripped Blood(1982) Review
The Dorm that Dripped Blood which also goes by the title of Pranks in the UK and other countries is a very weak slasher film and it good have been a decent film actually if it had a bigger budget, better kills, better acting, etc…….lol.
The film came out in 1982 and starts off with a kill in it immediately but you can’t really see the kill cause the print color of it was wayyyyyyy too dark. The film is about a group of college students who decide to stay for one more weekend after exams are over with to help take inventory of a run down building on campus which is to be torn down and made into a big new dorm.
While there, someone on campus is doing a Norman Bates on the folks and I don’t mean dress up as mother either lol. The kills are pretty damn lame and the acting is terrible in my book but it a decent cheesy way I guess cause it’s the early 80’s. The film is too grainy looking and too dark looking at night time. Also, the ending of the film when the killer is finally revealed is just stupid cause he/she has no motive for any of the killings at all.
A very young Daphne Zuniga(from The Initiation) stars in the film but she’s one of the first ones to get it early on. This film was crap but I have seen much worse than this one.
