New Day Dream Films Horror Line Up
New Daydream Films (NDF), an independent film company out of Charlotte, North Carolina, has big plans for their company. They are currently in the process of developing a three-year film slate comprised of cutting edge films from all genres. NDF partner Richard Clark Jr. says, “We are currently in the process of developing a slate of great projects. Without any concentration on genres, our main goal is to make films that people want to see. Films that I would be proud of making myself. “
Bye Bye New Line
Variety reports that New Line Cinema, one of the big powerhouses of Hollywood is being absorbed by Warner Bros. Dubbed ‘The House That Freddy Built’, New Line originally started as a distributor of films to small theaters and college campuses before its CEO Robert Shaye managed to pull together enough money to allow a young director named Wes Craven to make his script that had been floating around in Hollywood for years: A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Murder Party
A random invitation to a Halloween party leads a man to a clandestine gathering that turns into a bloodbath of mishap, mayhem and hilarity in Murder Party, arriving on DVD October 16 from Magnolia Home Entertainment. When a social outcast arrives at a costume party, he finds himself chained and gagged by a gang of deranged hipster artists who plan to murder him for the sake of art. After settling upon a midnight stabbing, the gang introduces a vial – or two - of truth serum syringes and a game of ‘Extreme Truth or Dare” begins.

Coraline (2009)
The story of a young girl who unlocks a mysterious door in her new home, and enters into an adventure in a parallel reality. On the surface, this other world eerily mimics her own life–though much more fantastical. In it, Coraline encounters such off-kilter inhabitants as the morbidly funny Miss Forcible and Miss Spink, and a counterfeit mother–who attempts to keep her. Ultimately, Coraline must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home.
Lost Boys 2 Vampires are Sexual Deviants?
A new photo ( not the first photo mind you ) for The Lost Boys 2 has gone online at STYD and I suggest you go look at it. Community member Alien25 points out that the vampires are Sexual Deviants. Notice how the vampire had been sucking on her neck and is now coping a feel. What gives?
Terminator 4 Gets a Release Date
According to Variety ( thanks to Gabs for the heads up ) we wont have to wait long for some new Terminator action. Terminator Salvation will hit theatres May 22nd, 2009. Terminator 4 is shooting in April in Budapest according to ‘J’ who emailed us sometime back. McG with his top liner Christian Bale ( rumored ) will be bringing new life to the Terminator Franchise. Today SkinCarver emailed to let us know that Chud has the inside scoop on who the main characters in the upcoming movie will be.
Dead Space Release Date
Electronic Arts today announced that new sci-fi survival horror game Dead Space™ will be in European and North American stores on October 31st for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360™ videogame and entertainment system. Set in the cold blackness of deep space, the atmosphere is soaked with a feeling of tension, dread and sheer terror.
One Missed DVD
In the proud tradition of bad Asian horror remakes, One Missed Call will soon be heading home. DVDActive got word on the tale of cell phone horror and it looks to be bare bones. At the moment, no special features have been announced. However, the cover art is out, though its the same as the poster. With a movie this bad, I would like a commentary at the very least.
