Hannibal (Anthony Hopkins) manipulates his captor (Edward Norton).

Billed as the prequel to The Silence of the Lambs, this installment in the Hannibal Lecter canon will be the second retelling of author Thomas Harris’ 1981 novel, Red Dragon, after Michael Mann’s Manhunter (1986).
