The Seed of Chucky
This movie starts out promising. There’s some heavy breathing, some killing, and even a quick flash of breast. The characters spend too much time in-fighting and doing family things (as family as a group of puppet serial killers can be). This movie becomes a snooze-fest quickly. It is briefly livened up by some extremely gross moments… a turkey-baster dripping jizz, Jennifer Tilly’s mooshy melons, and Redman’s piss-poor acting skills.
The only good thing about this movie is the gender confusion that afflicts the new member of this nuclear puppet family. Glen/Glenda debuts as an androgynous puppet that can’t decide whether he/she wants to be a boy or a girl. I would have turned this piece of crap off, if I hadn’t been interested in which sex Glen/Glenda would choose.
This movie sports some sweet gore, however; there isn’t as much as I had hoped for. You’d think for a part five movie there would be a sickening body count. I guess they had to cut some of that shit out for the “drama.” You’d think that a movie that actually advertised itself as “Unrated and Fully Extended” would have actually had something in it that was worth being cut… besides Redman.
Final Synopsis: If you’re questioning your gender, watch this. Brad Dourif is always funny as a foul-mouthed, mass-murdering puppet. You should probably stay away from this poop-fest or simply drop some cash and rent it.
