Still smarting from the pain of a bitter custody battle, Dahlia (Jennifer Connelly) and her daughter Ceci move into a ramshackle apartment building where everything seems to be falling apart. But rising damp and dry rot are the least of their worries, as they are soon plagued by something much worse — the ghost of a vengeful neighbor who won’t be laid to rest.
