13 Hours in a Warehouse spins the thrilling tale of five baddies who spend the night hiding out in an abandoned warehouse that was once used as a film studio. But as they settle themselves in, strange numbers begin to appear everywhere, and as their hostage escapes, and a rat in their ranks threatens their plans, coupled with the discovery of what films were actually filmed in the warehouse, the five thieves find they have a bigger problem…they are not alone in the warehouse.

13 Hours in a Warehouse is written, produced and directed by Dav Kaufman, who has been involved in the entertainment industry for almost 15 years. He is a critically acclaimed novelist with Lake Desire (Crotalus Publishing, 2003) in which he has been called “a novelist of considerable and original talent” –Midwest Book Review. While living and working in the film industry in Los Angeles, he produced several other films, and worked in key crew positions in others. Most of his work was through UCLA’s prestigious film school. Kaufman is also known as the founder of Rise Media and the hit festival, the Wild River Music, Comedy & Film Festival held in St. Paul September 6-10, 2006. The diverse festival featured over thirty music acts including Al Green as the music headliner.

The Make-up department head for 13 Hours in a Warehouse, Crist Ballas, has been working as a make-up designer for the film and television industry for over 25 years. He worked with Arnold Schwarzenegger on; The 6th Day, End of Days, Batman and Robin and Jingle All the Way. Ballas has also worked as a special make-up effects artist on many other major productions including; Reindeer Games, Double Jeopardy, The 13th
Warrior, A Simple Plan, Drop Dead Gorgeous and the upcoming Jet li / Jackie Chan film; The Forbidden Kingdom. Crist’s experience and expertise go a long way in making 13 Hours in a Warehouse a thrilling horror film.

Production of 13 Hours in a Warehouse began July 8th and wrapped on July 26th. The entire production was filmed in the city of Minneapolis. Everyone involved in the production has been working in the Twin Cities entertainment scene in a wide array of theater, film, video and television productions, and is dedicated to furthering the reputation of the Twin Cities as a cutting-edge market for the arts.
